Put zookini in it's own folder anywhere on your hard drive. What zookini does is it edits the zoo.ini file, which is a file that zoo tycoon 1 reads at load time, and where it stores many of your game settings, including the video and sound options. Relevant for DA2, the Thief trilogy, Zoo Tycoon, Paladins, Don't Starve (including Together), The Sims 2, Gothic 1 and 2 in my experience.Zookini is a launcher program for zoo tycoon 1. It's a bother that most games have different 'likes', but you can at least create different profiles. For example, for me, fiddling with NVidia settings and optimising memory allocation with Razor Cortex generally helps. Your graphics card and memory optimisation software could help adjust the settings. It's more of a bandaid, but maybe helpful. The game just doesn't seem to like too many saves. What helps me is zipping the saves, moving the ZIP elsewhere and deleting all but the most recent save in the /./BioWare/Dragon Age 2/Characters//Saves/ directory.
